Fact or Fiction: Could we be the highest positioned self storage facility in Wales ?

Brynmawr or “Little Hill” in Welsh is noted as being the highest town in Wales. Being 1000 feet above sea level, does this therefore give us the title of highest positioned self storage facility in a town in Wales ?

The Guardian - Six Bells Mining Memorial Sculpture, Abertillery.

The Guardian statue was completed in 2010 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1960 mining disaster in Six Bells that tragically claimed the lives of 45 men. The incredible 20m sculpture stands over the site of the former colliery.

Bryn Bach Park, Tredegar.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the lake at Bryn Bach Park, or if you are feeling a little more energetic take part in one of the many activities available such as open air wild swimming. Parc Bryn Bach is great for families with a large play area, and crazy golf course.

National Big Pit, Coal Museum, Blaenavon.

Big Pit is an industrial heritage museum. Once a working coal mine from 1880 to 1980, it is now open to the public, with the opportunity to have an underground tour to see the pit bottom and mine workings. Big Pit and the Blaenavon industrial area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its great importance in the Industrial Revolution.

Also adjacent to Big Pit, visitors are welcome to view the preserved Pontypool and Blaenavon railway.
